Stoke rider Kristiansen fills the role vacated by the injured Joe Haines |
Wolverhampton are to strengthen their line-up for the rest of the season by signing Stoke Potters rider Jesper Kristiansen for the number eight slot. The Dane will combine his Premier League commitments with the Potters with Wolves' Elite League programme. Kristiansen, 23, steps in for Joe Haines, whose season has been ended with a serious neck injury. Wolves' promoter Chris van Straaten hopes to field his new rider at Lakeside on Wednesday. The Monmore Green club play host to the Poole Pirates on Monday, hoping to maintain their challenge for the Elite League title.
