Karlsson rolled back the years to top score for Wolves

A peerless performance from veteran skipper Peter Karlsson spurred Wolves to a comfortable 55-39 victory over Eastbourne in the Elite League.

Karlsson was unbeaten by opponents all night at Monmore to help his side back to the top of the table.

Grand Prix star Freddie Lindgren was also on top form, including a stunning double overtaking move in heat 10.

That enabled him to register a 5-1 win alongside young Dane Nicolai Klindt, all but ending Eastbourne's hopes.

Karlsson led all Wolves' scorers with 14 points, Lindgren adding 12, Tai Woffinden and Adam Scornicki chipping in with eight apiece.

Davey Watt registered 11 points for the visitors, youngster Lewis Bridger notching 10 and fit-again Simon Gustafsson nine.
