The Isle of Man's former British motorcycle trials champion Steve Colley scored his first victory on four wheels in the Trade Distribution stages.

Colley and partner Liz Humphreys lead the 25 car field from St Johns.

Nigel Cannell and Nick Kaighin led early on with Martyn Jones and Maurice Snell second.

But Colley's Mitsubishi Evo VI upped the pace, finishing 67 seconds clear of second place Jones and Snell, with Cannell and Kaighin retiring early.

Colley had already shown promise on four wheels when he took third overall at the Jaks Rally at the beginning of 2008.
