Woods on the opening hole

Hole 4: His three wood finds yet another fairway. With a high iron, he stops his ball 15 feet short of the pin on the green. After seeing his playing partner David Duval just miss his putt on the same line, Woods takes full advantage for his first birdie of the day. Seventeen under

Hole 5: The first sighting of the Woods' driver, the result being a huge shot down the middle of the fairway. But his next two shots are miserable - his approach fails to get over the valley just in front of the green, while his third just climbs onto the fringe. He makes par, but that score is disappointing given his long tee shot. Seventeen under

Hole 6: Another huge tee shot leaves him with a second shot which he putts 25 feet past the pin. He gets down in two for another par. Seventeen under

A relaxed Tiger strolls down the fairway

Hole 7: An iron on this 390 yard par four puts him in excellent position for the second shot. But from 81 yards, he comes up a little short with his wedge. A two putt gives him yet another par, while Duval makes another birdie to move within three shots of the lead. Seventeen under

Hole 8: On this par three, Tiger opts for a percentage shot, flying his ball 15 feet past the pin to give himself an outside chance of birdie. But his putt comes up shot and he settles for another par. Seventeen under

Hole 9: After safely finding the fairway with an iron, Tiger takes a sand wedge which stops 15 feet ahead of the flag. His putt brushes the right side of the cup but does not fall. Another par. Seventeen under

Hole 10: On this 379 yard par four, Woods hits an immaculate drive which bounces onto the green, leaving him a 30 yard putt for eagle. Despite leaving that putt 10 feet short, he makes birdie to go four ahead again. Eighteen under

Hole 11: His tee shot on this par three lands some 35 feet past the pin. His first putt is judged to perfection, leaving an easy putt for par. Eighteen under

Hole 12: Despite driving through the green on Saturday, Woods opts for the driver again and lands his tee shot on the green, before watching it trickle to the back on this 314 yards par four. His carefully played second goes up to the hole, leaving him an easy birdie, while Duval's bogey stretches the lead to six shots again. Nineteen under

Hole 13: Another perfectly played tee shot lands on the fairway. He makes an easy par, as Duval bogeys another hole. Nineteen under

Checking the contours of the green

Hole 14: After two massive shots, Woods is at the front of the green for an eagle attempt. His putt just fails to come in and misses by the right side of the cup, but he makes his birdie comfortably. Twenty under

Hole 15: An ever so slightly wayward drive actually leaves him off the fairway, although his second shot is only 160 yards. The approach leaves him a long putt for birdie which he very nearly makes. Twenty under

Hole 16: No risks at this stage, Tiger hits the fairway with his first, the green with his second and takes two putts for his par. Twenty under

Hole 17: The road hole sees Tiger's first real mistake of the round, when his second lands behind the dreaded bunker and leaves him no option but to play wide of the pin. His par attempt pulls to the left for his first bogey of the day. Nineteen under

Hole 18: With his win guaranteed, Tiger strikes yet another immaculate drive down this wide fairway. His pitch is lands safely on the green, although he has a mammoth putt for a birdie. His first putt pulls up six feet short, but he makes no mistake with his par attempt. He embraces his caddie Steve Williams and Duval, before receiving a big hug from coach Butch Harmon.
