Johnny Caldwell did just enough to make the Tour School finals

Johnny Caldwell is the only Ulster player to progress to next week's European Tour School finals after the second stage of qualifying in Spain.

With a top 20 finish needed Caldwell fired a final round of one-under-par 71 at Montenmedio to end in tied 15th on two under.

Richard Kilpatrick was joint 46th at the same course on five over.

Lurgan's Gareth Shaw was tied 41st at Costa Ballena while Eddie Barr and Barrie Trainor were also well back.

Kilpatrick finished with a 73 while Shaw also had a 73 to end on four under.

Barr was joint 50th at Sherry Golf Jerez on four over after a 74 and Trainor's 70 left him on par and tied 43rd at Arcos Gardens.
