Graeme McDowell goes to the Open Championship in good form

McDowell carded seven birdies and three bogeys in a 67 to finish in a tie for 11th position on nine under par.

Clarke was equal 19th on six under after shooting an impressive 66 which included six birdies and a bogey.

Peter Lawrie ended one under and Paul McGinley level par while Gregory Havret beat Phil Mickelson in a play-off.

Both players ended on 14 under but Frenchman Havret won at the first play-off hole.

Ernie Els was third on 13 under.
