Darren Clarke enjoyed his best round in months on Friday |
Darren Clarke ended the Buick Open on six under par after carding a final round of one-under-par 71 at Warwick Hills on Sunday. The Dungannon player recorded five birdies and four bogeys in his final 18 holes after carding earlier rounds of 73, 68 and 70 in the United States.
Clarke had made the cut on Friday for the first time in eight attempts.
Clarke's poor form in recent months has seen him drop outside the world's top 100 after starting the year in 35th.
Brian Bateman won the tournament on 15 under.
