* Castrale won at first play-off holeNicole Castrale beat world number one Lorena Ochoa at the first play-off hole to win the $2.6m LPGA Ginn Tribute in South Carolina.
Replaying the 18th hole, Ochoa's tee shot landed behind the hazard line and she was forced to take a penalty drop.
After Castrale reached the green in two and two-putted, Ochoa's 30-foot putt went just wide of the hole.
Cristie Kerr came third, three shots off the pace, with Paula Creamer and Sarah Lee a further shot behind.
Castrale, 28, became the sixth first-time winner on the LPGA tour this year.
"To beat Lorena ... the odds weren't on my side for sure." she said.
"My goal really going into today was to give myself a chance to win on the back nine. So really, to stay close enough basically close to Lorena.
"It was really weird, I had an eerie calmness about me all week and it paid off. I wish I could duplicate that more often."
