Park, at three under, had yet to start her round when play was called off.
Six players were locked on one under, with American In-Bee Park leading in the clubhouse at level after carding a second-round 73.
Lorena Ochoa was also in the logjam at level, with Annika Sorenstam five over after 17 holes of her second round.
Scotland's Janice Moody was the highest-placed European at four over after 17 holes, while Catriona Matthew and Becky Morgan were also four over after round one.
England's Laura Davies completed a second round 75 to slip to five over, while Hawaiian teenager Michelle Wie had yet to start after her opening-round 82.
American Alexis Thompson, the youngest player to compete in the event, was unlikely to break Wie's record and become the youngest to make the cut in an LPGA tournament.
The 12-year-old Thompson was 12 over through 31 holes.
The first round had also been delayed overnight because of thunder and lightning, and only 24 players managed to complete the second round.
