Edoardo Molinari claimed a comfortable win over Dawie van der Walt to reach the last four of the US Amateur Championship in Philadelphia. The Italian, who was in the running for the prestigious amateur medal at this year's Open, got through thanks to a 6&4 victory over the South African.
He will take on Austin Eaton after the American defeated Anthony Kim 4&2.
JC Deacon beat fellow Canadian Mark Leon 2&1 while Dillon Dougherty overcame Ryan Yip 4&2.
