Day four: Goosen v Harrington
Final round of the Volvo Masters

Final scores: Harrington +13, Goosen +12

The battle for the European Order of Merit went into the final day of the season at the Volvo Masters.

Padraig Harrington needed to finish significantly ahead of Retief Goosen to claim the title.

Goosen's poor third-round 78 had given Harrington a glimmer of hope, which increased when the South African double-bogeyed the 3rd.

But Goosen battled back as the Irishman's challenge faded away in the closing holes.

Two dropped shots on the last two holes meant that Harrington trailed in at 13 over, one shot behind Goosen, who retained his European Order of Merit title.

Hole-by hole updates

Goosen: Goosen finishes his round with a par four for a 72, his best round of the week. But more importantly, he has retained his European Order of Merit title.
