Amanuma failed to win a single hole to go down 5 and 4 to Rosie Jones from the US, while Bando bowed to another American, Michele Redman 4 and 3. Jones will play Han Hee-Won of South Korea, who beat American Laura Diaz by 3 and 2, while Redman will meet Sweden's Carin Koch who defeated Britain's Catriona Matthew by 5 and 3. The other quarter-final match will be played between Lorie Kane of Canada and American Kelly Robbins. |
