Lincoln Ladies win away at Leeds

Lincoln Ladies bounced back from their Premier League Cup defeat by Birmingham with a 4-0 win at Leeds City Vixens in the Premier League Northern division.

The Lady Imps raced into a three-goal lead inside the first 27 minutes through Stacey Aisthorpe, Jodie Michalska and a Carla Ward penalty.

Aisthorpe added a fourth on 72 minutes to seal a third league win in a row.

Coach Steve Harris said: "We played good football at times and could have scored more goals."

Lincoln Ladies are fourth in the Northern division of the Women's Premier League, three points behind the leaders Leicester City.
