Lincoln keep pressure on top spot

In-form stiker Jodie Michalska scored twice for Lincoln Ladies

Lincoln Ladies won 2-1 at Manchester City on Sunday, despite most of the game being dominated by the home side.

In-form striker Jodie Michalska scored both goals for the Lady Imps, against the run of play.

"Manchester City played the better football over the 90 minutes," admitted assistant coach Steve Harris.

"The sign of a good team is being able to win when not playing to full potential. This might prove very important come the end of the season."

Lincoln Ladies are in action on Sunday, 7 December against league leaders Sunderland - who are one point ahead of the Imps but have three games in hand.
