Boston United beat Whitby Town 2-0 to record their first home win in the Unibond Premier Division since the opening day of the season on Saturday.
In foggy conditions at York Street the Pilgrims took the lead after 52 minutes through Jon Froggatt's header.
Ollie Ryan's 89th-minute strike sealed their first league win in seven games.
Caretaker manager Steve Welsh told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Sometimes you have to play effective football rather than pretty flowing football and we did."
In Unibond First Division South Ricky Miller netted a hat-trick and Martin Wormall scored twice as Spalding United thumped their Lincolnshire rivals Grantham Town 5-1.
Phil Stebbing and Adam Cunnington were on target for Stamford in the Daniels' 3-0 victory at home to Loughborough Dynamo, while Lincoln United's match at Sheffield was abandoned because of fog, with the Whites trailing 1-0 at the time.
