Beckett has scored three goals in two games since joining Gainsborough
An injury-time equaliser from Luke Beckett gave Gainsborough Trinity a 3-3 draw against Stalybridge Celtic at the Northolme in Blue Square North.
Beckett missed an early penalty before giving Trinity a fourth-minute lead.
Andy Smart and Nathan Joynes replied for Stalybridge, who had Richard Battersby sent off before Lewis McMahon equalised from the penalty spot.
Keeper Aaron Jameson's error let in Matty Barlow in the 89th minute, only for Beckett to head home in added time.
Gainsborough manager Steve Charles told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It felt like a loss because we were so dominant in the game.
"We had a number of early chances and had we taken those I think we'd have gone on to win the game quite convincingly."
Charles felt that poor defending had been Trinity's undoing, especially for Smart's low free-kick.
He said: "I'm pulling my hair out with the three goals we conceded.
"For some reason the lads in the wall have decided he was going to stick it in the top corner and they've all jumped.
"For the third goal Aaron's clearance went straight up in the air but I don't know why he didn't go up to win the next one. It was a total calamity of a goal.
"But if you take away the three goals, the lads played well and created a number of chances."
The game also saw former Trinity boss Paul Mitchell, who is now assistant manager at Stalybridge, sent to the stands for dissent 10 minutes from time.
Charles admitted: "Mitch is Mitch, he's passionate about the game and some things will never change."
