Lincoln scored five second-half goals to record their first league victory in six games at home to Accrington.
John Miles' dipping effort put Stanley in front prompting Imps manager Peter Jackson into a reshuffle at half-time.
The tactical switch paid off as Adrian Patulea prodded Lincoln level, before Aaron Brown headed them in front and Ben Wright flicked in a third.
Patulea scored his second in injury time and Lee Frecklington's penalty completed an impressive victory.
