Lincoln Ladies kept the pressure up on Sunderland at the top of the table

Lincoln Ladies moved into second place in the Women's Premier League Northern Division after beating Aston Villa 5-1.

A hat-trick from Amanda Barr and two goals from Jodie Michalska sealed the rout and took Lincoln to within four points of league leaders Sunderland.

Lincoln manager Rod Wilson said: "That was a really good performance against a tough and difficult side."

"I think that might just put us back in the hunt for the title. There's still a lot of football left to play."
