Lincoln City Ladies chairman Geoff Adams believes the club's Northern Division match at Sunderland on Sunday is the biggest in their history.

The Lady Imps just need to match Nottingham Forest's score against Sheffield Wednesday to get promoted.

Adams told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "This has to be the biggest game in the club's history.

"We have within our grasp the opportunity of gaining promotion to the National Division."

"That has been the club's holy grail since we managed to get into this league."

Going into their final matches, the two clubs are level on points but Lincoln have a better goal difference by one.

However, should the two sides finish with the same goal difference Forest would get promoted to the Premier League having scored more goals.
