Sunderland can have a say in what happens in the Northern Premier

Sunderland Ladies entertain promotion hopefuls Lincoln City on Sunday knowing they could have a say in the destination of the League championship.

Lincoln and Nottingham Forest are tied at the top and, with a place in the National Premier at stake, the result could have consequences for both clubs.

Midfielder Lucy Bronze returns after featuring in England Under-17s' European Championship qualifiers.

Fellow midfielder Rachel Lee also returns after a serious illness.

Sunderland's own title hopes ended after they were beaten at Tranmere but a subsequent draw with Nottingham Forest and a win against Sheffield Wednesday prove they are more than capable of giving Lincoln a scare.

Sunday's game takes place at the Hetton Centre at 1400 GMT.
