York City goalkeeper Michael Ingham has praised the impact boss Gary Mills has had since arriving at Bootham Crescent.
York have lost just once in 10 games under Mills, who was named the Blue Square Bet Premier manager of the month for November.
"We've always had a good squad, but it just didn't click," Ingham told BBC Radio York.
"The gaffer has brought in a work ethic that starts with the guys at the front and it seems to be working."
In addition to Mills' award, Ingham, who has kept five consecutive clean sheets, took the player of the month honour.
"I wasn't really expecting it, but I can't take all the credit," added the 30-year-old.
"The lads have been brilliant all month, in particular the back five. I accept this trophy on behalf of them."
