Mills left Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Tamworth to become York boss
York City manager Gary Mills has said the squad he has inherited is too big and players will be leaving the club.
The former Tamworth boss took charge of his first game at the weekend, a 1-1 draw with Bath, but had many of his first team squad sitting in the stand.
He told BBC Radio York: "We have got a lot of players here, too many.
"We've got no reserves. I need to get a smallish squad of players that are working for each other. I can't have half a dozen sitting in the stands."
