Sangare has scored twice this season for York City
York City defender Djoumin Sangare has said he is looking forward to returning to his former club Salisbury in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday.
Sangare, who has become a favourite with York's supporters, told BBC Radio York he has fond memories of his time at the Wiltshire club.
"I had a great time over there and worked with some good people," he said.
"But now I'm a York player and I need to deal with it and do my job on the pitch which is winning the game."
He added: "I know most of the squad. It's a good team. They've been a bit unlucky with the deducted points but it's a good team so we have to be aware."
However the Frenchman is now very happy at York and was named player of the month for September.
"I'm enjoying my football," he said. "When you play well you're really happy when people respect what you do and give you some just reward.
"I'm happy with my first trophy of player of the month. I hope it won't be the last one. I want to try my best.
"I'm training hard and surrounded by good players. We're doing really well and I'm enjoying my football which is most important."
