York make first summer signings

York players at Wembley
York City's Wembley appearance was only the second in the club's history

York City have signed left-winger Craig Nelthorpe and central midfielder Andy Ferrell as their first arrivals since their Wembley FA Trophy final defeat.

Former Doncaster trainee Nelthorpe joins from Oxford, while Ferrell, who started at Newcastle, has had spells at Watford, Hereford and Kidderminster.

City have also re-signed Josh Mimms and Andy McWilliams from last season.

Goalkeeper Mimms is understudy to Michael Ingham while McWilliams broke into the first team late in the season.
