Yeovil Town boss Terry Skiverton eyes defensive cover

Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton says he is looking to bolster his defensive options with a loan signing.

The Glovers are languishing in the League One relegation zone having lost six of their last seven league games, conceding 18 goals along the way.

"I'll be looking to bring in another defender just to make sure that if something happens we've got cover," Skiverton told BBC Somerset.

"If something comes in with quality they might go straight into the team."

Meanwhile, Skiverton has confirmed they have sent Arsenal forward Luke Freeman back early to his parent club.

The 18-year-old arrived at Huish Park in the summer and had initially signed until the end of the calendar year but has been hampered by injury.
