Bournemouth extended their unbeaten run to five games to leave Yeovil without a victory in seven League One matches.
Danny Hollands met Steve Fletcher's header on 19 minutes to give the hosts the lead with a 20-yard effort.
Josh McQuoid then made the points safe, cutting in from the left and unleashing a stunning shot past Neil Sullivan.
In a dour second half, Cherries keeper Jon Stewart denied Andy Williams and Owain Tudur Jones, while McQuoid and Liam Feeney forced Sullivan to save.
Stewart, who came on as a late replacement for the injured Shwan Jalal in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Orient, marked his first start with his first clean sheet.
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told BBC Radio Solent: "I was really pleased with the response after Saturday's disappointment and we thoroughly deserved to win.
"We were professional, we saw the game out and we were very comfortable.
"I'm well pleased for Jon. He's been thrown in and I thought he was really good. He can only get better."
Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset: "As good as we were on Saturday, I think we were as poor tonight.
"I don't know if it's a confidence thing, but certain players have definitely got to liven themselves up, otherwise they're just not going to play for me anymore.
"That's not the way we're going to get ourselves out of trouble playing like that."
