Yeovil are in the hunt for a new goalkeeper after Josh Wagenaar rejected the offer of a new contract.
The Canadian stopper, 24, was on international duty this summer and will not be returning to the club.
"Josh will be looking elsewhere now. He is not part of out plans," boss Terry Skiverton told the Western Daily Press.
"We had an offer ready to go out to him but we didn't hear back from him in the time frame specified. We are looking elsewhere to fill the position."
Wagenaar signed for the Glovers in 2008, but after making 28 appearances for the club he lost his position towards the end of last season to Chris Weale, who arrived on loan from Bristol City.
Yeovil played trialists Arran Lee-Barrett and Richard Martin in goal during their opening pre-season friendlies at the South West Cup in Barnstaple.
Meanwhile, the Glovers have appointed Scott Murray as club captain and fellow summer recruit Stefan Stam as team captain.
