Yeovil plan Slade contract talks
Russell Slade
Slade's success at Yeovil has attracted the interest of other clubs
Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade is set to hold talks with the club's board this week over a new contract.

Slade joined Yeovil in June 2006 and guided the Glovers to the League One play-offs last season.

And chairman John Fry has already rebuffed approaches from Carlisle and Millwall for his manager this season.

"The board and I have always been behind Russell as we bid to maintain stability and move this club into the Championship," Fry said in a statement.

Slade has previously managed Notts County, Scarborough and Grimsby.
