Slade could attract a lot of attention from other clubs if Yeovil are promoted |
Yeovil chairman John Fry admits Russell Slade is likely to be a manager in demand if he leads them to Wembley and promotion to the Championship. Fry is keen to keep Slade but accepts he could move on to a bigger club.
"My philosophy is that people who join us are on the way up and if they do themselves and the club proud they will move on," Fry told BBC Radio Bristol.
"If you have that sort of philosophy with people they will be motivated and do their best for you."
Fry added: "I hope we keep Russell Slade for another 10 years, and he's focused on getting us to Wembley.
"He's up with Gary Johnson as far as qualities are concerned. He has the ability to go on to a bigger club as Gary has. Russell has done it with a minimal amount of resources at a time when the club was a bit disorganised with the amount of people who had left."
