Yeovil have rejected an approach from managerless League One rivals Millwall to speak to their boss Russell Slade. "I've had an approach from Millwall and I've turned them down," chairman John Fry told the Glovers' website.
"I can also confirm that I was approached by the chief executive of Carlisle last month - and he got a straight answer as well.
"I won't allow any other club to speak to Russell - I let him know about the interest and I have his backing."

Fry added: "He's done a fantastic job here and it's inevitable he will be in demand, but he's got a long-term contract here and this club is heading for the Championship." Former Notts County, Scarborough and Grimsby boss Slade took charge at Huish Park in the summer of 2006, and he led them to the League One play-off final in his first season in charge - earning him the division's manager of the year award.
Millwall have been looking for a new boss since sacking Willie Donachie last week, while Carlisle recently appointed John Ward as the successor to Neil McDonald.
