Shaw has taken temporary charge at the New Den |
Millwall have insisted that they will not be hastily appointing a successor to Willie Donachie as manager. Donachie, who was the Lions' sixth full-time boss in the last three years, was sacked on Monday after a poor start to the League One season.
"We would like to get a permanent manager in place as soon as possible," executive deputy chairman Heather Rabbatts told the club's website.
"But we must not be guilty of rushing into it."

Veteran defender Richard Shaw, 39, is in temporary charge, assisted by Colin West. But Shaw has hinted that he does not want the job on a permanent basis.
"I was disappointed to see Willie go - although this is a results business so I can understand why the board took the decision," he said.
"I am happy to do the job with Westy in the meantime, but I'm still enjoying playing at the moment and that's what I want to focus on."
