Wycombe Wanderers striker Scott Rendell will be sidelined for up to three weeks after picking up an ankle injury.
The Chairboys' 24-year-old top goal-scorer failed to feature in Saturday's 1-0 win over Rotherham.
"He rolled his ankle in training which is a shame because he was looking really sharp," boss Gary Waddock told the club website.
Waddock will also be without defender Dave Winfield for two games after he received his 10th booking.
But the injury which saw left-back Andy Sandell replaced by Danny Foster in the first half is not expected to keep him out of action.
