Wycombe sign Brentford's Danny Foster and Ben Strevens

Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe have completed the double signing of right-back Danny Foster and striker Ben Strevens from Brentford.

Foster, 25, has agreed a one-year contract at Adams Park, while Strevens, 30, has penned a two-year deal.

Wanderers boss Gary Waddock told the club website: "We've been looking for a player to fill that position and Danny fits the bill.

"Ben is a proven goal-scorer at this level, which is something we've been looking for."

Both players moved to the Bees from Dagenham & Redbridge last summer, with Foster making 36 League One appearances and Strevens 23.

Foster moves on a free transfer but neither club have revealed whether Wycombe have paid a fee for Strevens, who was still under contract at Griffin Park.

Their signings follow those of Brentford team-mate Nikki Bull and Aldershot defender Dave Winfield.
