Duberry played in the Championship play-offs for Reading this season

Wycombe boss Peter Taylor has doubled his defensive signings this week, by signing experienced centre-back Michael Duberry on a two-year deal.

Duberry, 33, who has nearly 300 Premier and Football League appearances to his name, recently left Reading and joins Chris Westwood at the Chairboys.

Taylor told the club website: "I'm delighted to sign Michael. I've known him for a long time.

"He's got great leadership qualities and I wanted that within the squad."

Duberry started his career at Chelsea before moving to Leeds, Stoke and Reading. He has also had a short loan spell at Bournemouth.
