Dean Saunders has started his Wrexham summer clear-out as the Racecourse boss has released 11 players.
Strikers Wes Baynes and Matty Wolfenden have been released while defenders Mike Williams and Sam Williamson will not to be offered new contracts.
Midfielders Mark Jones, Hedi Taboubi, Silvio Spann, Nathan Fairhurst, Jamie McCluskey, Luke Holden and Steve Abbott have all been told to find new clubs.
Gareth Taylor and Kris O'Leary are two of five players offered new deals.
The veteran former Wales striker, who is Wrexham's top-scorer, and experienced midfielder O'Leary, who has been on a month-to-month deal, have been handed one-year deals.
While defensive duo Aaron Brown and Ashley Westwood and midfielder Christian Smith have also been offered fresh 12 month deals.
Former Wales under-21 striker Marc Williams, who is recovering from a broken foot, will be given a six-month contract to prove his fitness.
And French centre-back Mansour Assoumani has also been offered a new deal.
Wrexham have already signed a pre-contract agreement with Histon midfielder Nathaniel Knight-Percival as Saunders starts another summer rebuilding project at the Racecourse.
Saunders admitted after their final-day league win over Hayes and Yeading that many of his players will be asked to take pay-cuts to remain at the Racecourse as Wrexham 'did not do well enough' last season.
The Dragons finished their second season in the Blue Square a huge 41 points adrift of champions Stevenage and 20 points short of a play-off place.
"Probably nearly all of them that want to stay will have to take less money to stay," Saunders said on Saturday.
"Then some might turn those contracts down and also leave.
"I'm going to have to lose a few players. I've told them as we haven't done well enough so I'm going to have to change it. That is the ruthless world of football."
Saunders is apparently working on a smaller budget next season so he putting his "emphasis on quality."
