Wrexham manager Dean Saunders has pledged his future to the club by staying on next season.
The Dragons failed to return to the Football League at the first attempt by finishing a disappointing 10th in the Blue Square Premier.
Saunders took charge in October after the departure of Brian Little and got Wrexham in promotion contention, before tailing off at the end.
"I made the decision to do the job next year," Saunders told BBC Wales.
"I have to do the job to the best of my ability.
"I dropped everything in my life and put everything I had into it and I was more disappointed than anybody that we didn't get promotion.
"But sometimes you learn more when you are losing and that makes a few decisions easier for me and I know where all my weaknesses are, and maybe as a club, we know where our weakness is."
