Scott Green in action for Wigan

The former Bolton and Derby player had his contract with Wigan cancelled and will join the Dragons for the rest of the season.

Manager Denis Smith was very happy to secure Green's services.

"Just cast your eyes over his playing record and you will see exactly what an experienced player he is.

"I have also stressed that I have wanted someone who could improve us and add some versatility, which is exactly what Scott brings with him," Smith told the clubs website.

Once the signing has been cleared, Green will join the rest of the Wrexham squad for their game against Southend.
