Wrexham's injury woes
Craig Faulconbridge
Faulconbridge is on Wrexham's mounting injury list
Relegated Wrexham are counting the cost of a hard season with several players carrying injuries into the summer.

Lee Trundle, Paul Barrett, Kristian Rogers, Craig Faulconbridge, Craig Morgan, Lee Jones and Andy Morrell are all carrying knocks that require treatment.

"It's worse that when they are playing games,"
Physio Mike Williams
The club's medical team now face a battle against time to get the squad fit in time for next season.

The players will continue to report for training twice weekly for the next five or six weeks.

Reserve team physio Mike Williams will be one of the busiest men at the Racecourse ground in the close-season.

"It's worse than when they are playing games," Williams told the club's website.

"Lee Trundle came in with a large lump on his side, the result of a knock he took just minutes after coming on in Saturday's game. He tells me that it's gone down since the weekend.

Stitches

"Paul Barrett hurt his foot, aggravating an injury he did about a month ago and he even went to the hospital for an X-ray on Sunday, as it was concerning him that much.

"Kristian Rogers has a bad back, Craig Faulconbridge is having a problem with his shins and Craig Morgan is still receiving treatment for what might be knee ligaments.

"Lee Jones has more problems with his thigh strain and Ozzie is off to hospital tonight for an X-ray on his dead leg.

"We are hoping that it has not triggered off other problems and he's having the scan just to check it out.

"Then there was Andy Morrell. We have just taken the stitches out of his head wound and at least he seems fine."
