Grant is looking for players that will take Woking to League Two.
Woking head coach Kim Grant has told three of his players that they do not feature in his plans for next season.
Midfielders Matt Gray and Jerome Maledon and defender Matt Ruby have a year left on their contracts but have been told they can go.
Grant told the club's official website: "This was a tough decision to make. All three are good players.
"I would like to thank all three of them for their services to Woking Football Club."
Grant, who has been in charge of the Blue Square Premier Club since the end of May, added: "I need to create room in my squad to enable me to bring in other players who, I think, can take us up a level."
Woking are expected to announce the signing of an attacking midfielder imminently.
