Woking head coach Kim Grant has signed 20-year-old former Oxford United winger Joel Ledgister on a one-year contract.

The former Southend and Ebbsfleet wide man played alongside Woking assistant coach Phil Gilchrist at Oxford before going to Hayes and Yeading on loan.

Gilchrist told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "He's a very exciting player. He's quick, strong and athletic.

"We want all of our players to be able to play in a number of different postions and systems."

Ledgister is Grant's second signing, following Abdou El Kholti from Rushden and Diamonds.

Woking director of football Colin Lippiatt signed former Notts County and Millwall striker Manny Williams on a one-year contract before Grant's appointment.
