Former Woking captain and caretaker manager Neil Smith says he is delighted with the support of some big names ahead of his benefit game.

A Woking XI face an All-Star XI at Kingfield on Saturday, 19 July with Peter Beardsley and Ray Wilkins lending their support.

Smith told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "I'm glad I'm coming back to the club to say goodbye to the supporters."

A percentage of the money raised by the game is going to Woking Hospice.

Smith captained the Cards in the 2006 FA Trophy final and succeeded Glenn Cockerill as caretaker manager before leaving when Frank Gray was given the job.

He is currently coaching at Grays Athletic.
