Former Woking captain Neil Smith has been given a benefit match for his services to the Surrey club.

Smith made 141 appearances in his five-year spell and was briefly caretaker boss before being passed over for the job in favour of Frank Gray.

The former Spurs trainee and Fulham and Reading regular recently lost his first permanent managerial job at Welling.

The benefit match will be between a Woking XI and Neil Smith XI on Saturday, 19 July at Kingfield.
