Reed hit by five-game suspension

Weymouth

Weymouth defender Stephen Reed will be suspended for five games.

The 23-year-old was sent off for a professional foul in Tuesday's 4-0 home defeat by Salisbury, landing him an automatic two-game ban.

However, the ex-Torquay and Cambridge player was already facing a three-game suspension after reaching 10 yellow cards for the season on Saturday.

Reed was one of the few Terras players to stay at the club after they were not paid this year.

He will miss Blue Square Premier games with Altrincham, Burton Albion, Kettering, Barrow and Eastbourne Borough.
