Kiely joined West Brom from Portsmouth last January
West Brom keeper Dean Kiely is focused on Saturday's FA Cup semi-final with Portsmouth, despite being booed by his own fans against Colchester last week.
The 37-year-old, who had a spell at Pompey, was also singled out for blame during a loss at Barnsley in February.
"The criticism hasn't got to me, it hasn't upset me," Kiely told BBC Sport.
"My focus is on doing my job to the best of my ability and the manager, who is paid to make decisions, is happy. It doesn't bother me in the slightest."
Baggies boss Tony Mowbray gave his backing to Kiely after the fixture against Colchester, which West Brom won 4-3, insisting he has no plans to bring in reserve keeper Michal Danek for the showdown at Wembley.
And former Republic of Ireland international Kiely, who signed from Pompey in January 2007, bounced back with a clean sheet against Cardiff in a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.
"It isn't helpful but people pay their money and can say exactly what they want. I'm carrying out exactly what the manager wants me to do," he added.
"I've played for 20 years and played 740 games, which means whatever my manager wants me to do on the Saturday I've carried out to the letter and have a knack for doing it most weeks.
"I've only missed two games [this season] with a broken toe. And I know from talking to the manager that it is all good and positive. I'm happy enough, I just crack on and do my job."
Kiely believes West Brom, who are currently fourth in the Championship and in the hunt for an automatic promotion place, have a great chance of causing an upset at Wembley.
"It has been the year of the upsets," said Kiely, who made 222 league appearances for Charlton Athletic.
"We go into the game as underdogs, which is unusual as in the Championship we are firm favourites to knock everyone over and score a hatful of goals, but we approach the game with no fears."
