Zaaboub has started both of Chris Hutchings' first two games in charge
Walsall midfielder Sofiene Zaaboub is thrilled that new manager Chris Hutchings is giving him the chance to shine at the Banks's Stadium.
Zaaboub, 26, has been battling injuries since joining from Swindon last summer but has started the last two games.
"I'm happy to be in the team and I really enjoy it," the former St Etienne winger told BBC WM.
"I am full of confidence in the new manager so I will keep going and try to do well for the next few games."
Zaaboub's Saddlers' career has stuttered so far, he has made only five League One starts but two of those have come in the last couple of games against Hereford and Swindon.
His return to full fitness has coincided with Chris Hutchings' arrival as manager and the Montereau-born midfielder has noted a change in attitudes at the club.
"Of course, when you've got a new manager everybody changes," he acknowledged.
"You want to impress the manager and you think about the new chance and try to do well. The atmosphere is great."
