Elford-Alliyu signed for West Bromwich Albion as a 15-year-old

Tranmere Rovers have signed West Bromwich Albion striker Lateef Elford-Alliyu on a one-month emergency loan.

Elford-Alliyu, 18, is a former England U17 International and has had loan spells at Hereford United and Icelandic side Keflavik.

"I'm delighted to be able to bring Lateef to the Club," said Tranmere manager Les Parry.

"He's a fast, powerful striker with excellent movement and good technique, he'll be a good addition to our squad."

Elford-Alliyu will be available for the first leg of Tranmere's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area semi-final against Huddersfield Town at Prenton Park on Tuesday, 30 November.
