Striker Craig Curran says Tranmere can survive the drop
Curran has scored five goals in 32 games for Rovers this season
Tranmere striker Craig Curran says he has always been confident Rovers can get out of relegation trouble.
Rovers drew 1-1 with promotion-chasing Charlton on Saturday and are now just two points from League One safety.
"I knew we were good enough at the start of the season and I said that when we were going through a rough patch," he told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"It was just a case of getting it right and Les [Parry] has come in with his coaching staff and we've done that."
Saturday's point at The Valley was the second Rovers have managed to collect away from home at promotion-chasing sides in recent weeks, following their 3-3 draw with Huddersfield.
Tranmere must now get points against the teams around them in the battle against the drop and Curran believes they can fulfil their aims.
"Every game is a big game and we've just got to take each game as it comes," Curran continued.
"It doesn't matter who we play and it doesn't matter where we're playing. We go into the first half of every game looking to kick on and play as well as we can and that's the aim."
