Moore is manager John Barnes's first signing of the summer
Tranmere Rovers striker Ian Moore has signed a new two-year contract to stay at Prenton Park.
Moore, 32, who returned to Rovers for a second spell in January 2008, played 50 games last season, scoring 11 goals.
Tranmere manager John Barnes said: "I'm delighted Ian has decided to stay at the Club.
"He is a very experienced player who is a proven goal scorer. I look forward to working with him, and the rest of the squad, in pre-season training."
Moore began his career at Tranmere before going onto play for Nottingham Forest, West Ham, Stockport County, Burnley, Leeds United and Hartlepool United.
He has now made more than 130 appearances for Tranmere, scoring 27 goals and says he is delighted to have committed his future to the club.
"I've really enjoyed my time back at Tranmere and am happy to have signed a new contract at the Club.
"I'm looking forward to the new season and hopefully we will push for promotion," said Moore.
