Buckle frustrated by lack of wins

Buckle's men are third from bottom in League Two

Torquay United boss Paul Buckle has spoken of his frustration after the Gulls habit of sharing the points continued on Tuesday evening.

Seven of Torquay's last nine games have ended with the scores level, the latest being Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Port Vale.

Buckle told BBC Radio Devon: "I'm desperate for the players to turn the corner and start winning games.

"What do you say to players when they're performing like that but can't hit the back of the net?"

However, Buckle is also aware that his team have only lost once since the end of September, and knows becoming hard to beat is equally important.

"We fell behind [against Port Vale], came back and showed great character, then got ourselves in front.

"If we could have just held on for that 10 minute spell after we would have been ok."

Buckle added that the only way to ensure his men start to pick up all three points "is to get on the training field and keep practising."
