Torquay United have signed midfielders Mark Ellis and Lee Mansell on two-year contracts with the club.

Former Exeter City trainee Ellis has signed for the Gulls after being on loan from Premier League side Bolton Wanderers for much of the season.

Mansell joined Torquay at the start of the 2006/07 season from Oxford United.

Their decision to stay follows this week's arrival of midfielders Tyrone Thompson from Crawley Town and Michael Brough from Forest Green Rovers.
